About Auden’s Col trek
Auden’s Col trek is one of the toughest treks in Uttarakhand. Auden col is a mountain situated in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. In 1939, John Bicknell Auden discovered this mountain, hence the name of this mountain is named after him. This mountain is located at an elevation of 5490 meters above sea level. Auden’s Col pass connects the Khatling Glacier and Jogin Glacier.
The path of this pass starts from Gangotri and ends on Kedarnath. In simple words, this pass connects Uttarkashi and Chamoli districts of Uttarakhand. This trek is one of the toughest treks in Uttarakhand. The trekker has to travel 5 days and it takes up to 20 days to complete this trek. Overall it takes 30 days to complete Auden’s Col trek.
