Skiing in Auli
Auli is a well-known tourist and skiing destination of Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. It is located at an altitude of 2509-3049mts from sea level. This place is a major attraction for tourists. GMVN is responsible for the maintenance of this place. This place is covered with snow completely in winter and it has an amazing view of nearby peaks.
In winter this place is filled with all kinds of tourists from both domestic and foreign. It is one of the 5 famous skiing destinations from India. There is a 500 m long lift back the skier’s to the top, thus skiers can ski for long periods.
