How to Reach Bhalu Gaad Waterfall
Bhalu Gaad Waterfall is located in Kumaun region hill ( 38 km from Nainital) so there is no railway line and airport. The nearest railway station from this place is Kathgodam Railway station (24 km) and the nearest airport is Pantnagar Airport (58 km). If you have your own vehicle then the traveler can use GPS to reach there from any part of the country. Otherwise, the visitors have to hire a cab from the airport or railway station.
From Mukteshwar the waterfall is located 10 km away. The visitors have to drive towards Dhari Village from Mukteshwar. After reaching the spot the visitors have to park the vehicle on the roadside. From the road, the Bhalu Gaad Trek distance is 1.5 km.
Tips for Bhalu Garh Waterfall in Mukteshwar
- Be careful during the monsoon, the rock becomes very slippery due to moss, so go ahead carefully.
- Wear thick sole shoes
- If you are going there during the winter, take warm clothes.
- Take a spare bag with you to bring your snack wrappers and other items (which may cause pollution) back.
- Do not try to swim under the waterfall.
