Bharat Mata Mandir is located in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand, India. This temple is a unique and beautiful place which is dedicated to Bharat Mata. Bharat Mata Temple is also known as Mother India Temple. Bharat Mata Mandir situated in the Haridwar near the Sapt Sarovar is an 8-story building. The entire temple is divided into 8 different temples. Behind each floor is a special story. The height of this temple is 180 feet.

History of Bharat Mata Mandir
This temple was constructed in 1983 by Swami Satyamitanand Giri Ji Maharaj. The temple was inaugurated by the late Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi.

The first floor of Bharat Mata Mandir
The very beautiful idol of Bharat Mata is located on the first floor. This floor is devoted to Bharat Mata. There is also a map of India made from sand here.
The second floor of Bharat Mata Mandir
Shoor Temple is built on the second floor. The Shoor temple has statues of those heroes who have sacrificed their lives for the country. Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose, Veer Savarkar, Lalbahadur Shastri, Guru Gobind Singh, Maharana Pratap, Shivaji Rao, Laxmi Bai, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru etc statues are here.

The third floor of Bharat Mata Temple
Matra Temple is built on the 3rd floor of Bharat Mata Temple. This temple is dedicated to the maternal power of the country. In this temple statues of eminent women like Meerabai, Savitri, Mantri are established.
The fourth floor of Bharat Mata Temple
On the fourth floor of the Bharat Mata Temple, Sant Mandir is built. The statues of Gautam Buddha, Kabir Das, Tulsi Das, Rahim and Sai Baba are present in this temple.

In this floor beautiful floats of all religions have been presented. It also displays the historical facts and pictures of India’s natural beauty.
The sixth floor of Bharat Mata Temple
The Shakti temple is built on the sixth floor. The Adi Shakti idols of Maa Durga, Parvati, Radha, Kali, Saraswati etc. have been established on this temple.
The seventh floor of Bharat Mata Temple
The 10 incarnations of Lord Vishnu are depicted on the seventh floor. This temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu has beautiful pictures of his Matsya, Kurma, Varaha, Narasimha, Vamana, Parsuram, Rama, Krishna, and Buddha incarnations.
The eighth floor of Bharat Mata Temple
The eighth floor is dedicated to the feet of Lord Shiva. There are many images of Lord Shiva depicted on this floor. The beautiful floats of the Himalayas are also shown on this floor.

The best time to visit the temple is early morning or before 6 PM. After the Ganga Aarti, the lively initiative starts decreasing in Haridwar.
