Lipulekh pass is situated on the border of India, China, and Nepal. This pass is also known as Tri-Corner Pass. This passage is also the route to Kailash Mountain and Mansarovar Yatra. Located at an altitude of 5350 meters, this pass connects the Kumaun region of Uttarakhand and Tibet. This Pass plays an important role in trade between India and China.
This trek is one of the most difficult tracks in Uttarakhand. It takes 13-15 days to complete this trek. If you travel from a city like Delhi, then it takes 20 days to complete this trek. Lepulekh Trek is started from Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand.

Pithoragarh to Pangu
The distance from Pithoragarh to Pangu is 144 km, which is decided by driving. After reaching Pangu, for the rest of the night, the trekkers have to stay at Pangu Campsite and they have to leave for Gala the next day.
Pangu to Gala
Lipulekh trek starts from Pangu, from here, Gala is 23 km away. This trek takes 10-12 hours. After reaching Gala, passengers have to stay on the Gala campsite.
Gala to Budhi
The trekking distance from Gala to Budhi is 20 km which take approx 10-12 hours to cover.
