Patanjali Yogpeeth Haridwar
Patanjali Yogpeeth Haridwar is India’s largest Yoga Institute located in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand, India. This Ashram is named after ancient Yoga Guru Patanjali. This Yoga and Ayurveda Ashram is very well connected by Haridwar by auto, buses and all other facilities like Hospitals, Dispensary, Yoga center and Ayurveda medicine center. This campus also has facilities of the library where one can get all the books on Yoga.
This Ashram has a very big campus with lush green garden all around which make this very stunning and attractive. It was founded in 2006 by Baba Ramdev and Acharya Baal Krishna. This institute is Baba Ramdev’s flagship project and has been set up for treatment, research, and development in Yoga and Ayurveda, as well as the manufacturing of Ayurvedic medicine.
All the work here is done in a completely scientific way. It is one of the well-known places of Haridwar. Those peoples who are interested in Ayurveda come here from the different region of India for Ayurvedic treatment. All types of diseases are treated here.
The campus library is a particular area devoted to the research of Ayurveda. Various ancient and antique books have been restored here. In April 2009, the second yoga camp was inaugurated here.
Yog Bhawan – Patanjali Yoga Bhawan is a huge auditorium of 200,000 square feet, where thousands of participants practice yoga, pranayama, and meditation together.
Shadalayam – This is a 60,000 square feet air-conditioned auditorium. This place is also for practicing Yoga and meditation.
Panchakarma and Shaktkram Kendra – This is a 40,000-square-feet center where about 1,000 people can participate in Panchkarma and Shankaracharya therapy.

It is positioned on the Haridwar-Roorkee highway. It is 15km away from Haridwar and 21km away from Har Ki Pauri, Haridwar is the nearest railway station is Haridwar railway station, which is 21 km far from this place. One can easily reach this place by bus or taxi. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant, Dehradun, which is 50 Km far from this place.
