Sahastradhara, which means “thousand folds spring”, is one of the most popular tourist destinations located in Dehradun the capital of Uttarakhand state. It is situated on the Baldy River, which is located 14 km from Dehradun city. Best time to visit Sahastradhara
Summer is the best time to visit this place. Although this place can be visited in every season, the summer season is best for the sulfur bath and for the picnic. From October to March in winter the water is on its natural flow and according to the bath water is very cold.

There are no entry charges in Sahastradhara however the traveler has to pay parking charges which are 40 rupees for four wheeler and 20 rupees for the two-wheeler.

How to reach Sahastradhara
Sahastradhara has located just 14 km away from Dehradun city. One can easily reach Sahastradhara by city bus or auto (Vikram) or by his own vehicle. Dehradun Railway Station is 14 kilometers far from this place and Jolly Grant airport, Dehradun is 36 kilometers away from Sahastradhara. The traveler can take a taxi or auto from the railway station, or reach the Parade ground by auto. A direct bus is available from the Parade Ground to the Sahastradhara. If you have your own vehicle you can use GPS to reach Shastradhara.
