Shanti Kunj Haridwar

It is located on the banks of River Ganga in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand state. Shanti Kunj is a famous Ashram of Goddess Gayatri. Shantikunj was established by pt. Shriram Sharma Acharya on a small piece of land in 1971. Later it is spread over a large area named as Gayatri Nagar.

It has a very big and beautiful campus with every facility available inside like a very big auditorium, free food facility, accommodation, library, and a medicinal center.

Shanti Kunj is the headquarters of a spiritual and social organization “All World Gayatri Family”. This is the center of attraction for tourists and intellectual seekers. This organization is devoted to activities such as cultural, moral, spiritual awareness and national unity. Several types of camp are often held here for youth development and national integration.

There is also a very big auditorium where the marriage takes place, one can also relax and meditate and other exercises in this hall.

Brahmavar Research Institute in Shanti Kunj:

It was established in 1979 and is dedicated to the scientific discovery of Spirituality. Library, laboratory, and rare Ayurvedic herbs are also available in this institute.

Dev Shakti University in Shanti Kunj:

It was established by the Uttarakhand government in 2002. This is a complete residential university operated by the Vedamata Gayatri Trust, Shanti Kunj.

Here, a diploma, a degree is provided in clinics such as Clinic Psychology, Yoga Science, Indian Culture, and Theology.
